The Optolong H Beta Filter is a narrowband filter designed to isolate the Hydrogen Beta emission line at 486 nm. This specialized filter boosts contrast and detail when imaging or observing blue emission nebulae, especially from urban or light polluted skies. It helps faint emission regions stand out against the background, giving you cleaner and more structured views.
 
This filter works well with both astrophotography and visual observing. When used with a telescope and eyepiece, the H Beta filter enhances subtle features in blue or reflection nebulae that are often lost in normal broadband views.
